I recently shared with a friend about an area in my life where God is working.
His statement to me was....
"He's giving you your heart's desire"
Over a year ago, I did a post about my heart's desire where I shared a few of the things that I was praying for. Sometimes we might not even be aware of what that desire is.....but God knows exactly what we are seeking since He made our hearts and knows what it takes to fill them!!!
I started a journal a couple of weeks ago, and as time goes on, I HOPE to be able to share a very important journey in my life and some of the things that have happened since He prompted me to start reading the prayer of Jabez a few weeks ago!!!
How 'bout y'all....are you praying for something that is your "heart's desire"?
Is God filling some requests that you weren't even fully aware you needed?!?!

My children cringe when they hear the Prayer of Jabez. We had a major move when I began praying the prayer. Such good things happened in their lives since then though they see it as God's desire for their life as much as mine. We have proven "God's will will never lead you where His grace will no keep you." Praying for your journey.
ReplyDeleteI do know my hearts's desire and I pray about it and for it...God has done great things in my family but there is still an area that stays on my heart. Mr D and I both have heard Him say to us, "it's going to be okay." I know His timing is best, I have to remind myself of this whenever my heart becomes heavy. {{hugs}}
