{ Friday Foto Friends #164 }

Today's fotos are all about my Momma.

Phlox blooming at her house.

Snapped these fotos as I was leaving one evening.

 She comments all the time about how she can't believe she isn't gray and I am.
"I thought everybody was supposed to get gray hair" is what she says.
 (so did I, Mom)
I took a side-by-side selfie to show her the difference
 - and she's NEVER colored her hair.

HOPE everybody has a fantastic Friday and a great weekend!

  1. Wow! Your Mama is so pretty...amazing that she has never gotten gray hair! What a blessing! But Debbie, your hair is beautiful! You radiate joy and beauty, and your silver/white crown adorns you so gracefully. I love the pictures of the phlox blooming already! And those trees against the sky are marvelous. More of God's handiwork...Beautiful ladies, beautiful skies and trees and flowers...ALL God's handiwork!

  2. I wonder why she doesn't have gray hair? Is there something she eats...vitamins...no worrying? Mysterious!

    Phlox reminds me of the character from Star Trek. :)

  5. My mom wasn't gray yet, but she died at age 65. My maternal grandma wasn't completely gray at 92. My maternal grandma and my dad were white early in life. Go figure! Your mom is beautiful (and so are you!)!!

  7. Two very pretty ladies. Amazing that your mom hasn't any gray. My brother's MIL was gray at 18, her daughter was very slow to gray. I don't know how much gray she has now because she keeps it covered! I let mine shine for the world to see, I earned every gray(wisdom hilite) hair on my head. lol
