But you are so right, they don't always unfold as planned. I've been giving a lot lately, which I love to do. But it doesn't always turn out as well as I'd like it to. One item mysteriously vanished during shipping, which really worries me about the package I'm sending to Canada. But if its Gods will, the gifts will make their way to their intended recipients :)
All the best to you.
AimAims Pyrex Passionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07751487604545387907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3033320547792994210.post-6111635950727049612014-08-18T13:52:40.158-04:002014-08-18T13:52:40.158-04:00Deb, I am reminded of an old saying that Tennessee...Deb, I am reminded of an old saying that Tennessee Ernie Ford always said, "If the Good Lord's willing and the creek don't rise." For some reason those few words made a big impression on me and I have used those same words many times over the years. Great post dear friend. Have a blessed day.Visits With Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06606696720339004295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3033320547792994210.post-76074910607612769472014-08-18T11:56:28.067-04:002014-08-18T11:56:28.067-04:00Hi Deb! That's the joy and frustration of being a Christian. We make our plans, but God always knows better. So even if they don't work out, I have to believe that it's because my plan and his plan didn't line up.
That doesn't mean that I avoid frustration. I don't. But I think I get over it faster!
Have a great Monday :)
CeilCeilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06293917798735764739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3033320547792994210.post-90871635396949732092014-08-18T08:37:31.776-04:002014-08-18T08:37:31.776-04:00I am by personality a planner so yes I always make...I am by personality a planner so yes I always make plans. However, I too know that if it is not in God's Will then I truly don't want it....His way is always the best way even if I don't understand.
P.S. Having problems with blogger again today not showing my post. Say a little prayer as I am about ready to ditch it! I even just remembered a song that we used to sing in church that went, 'I don't know about tomorrow. I just live from day to day. I don't worry about life's sunshine for it's skies may turn to gray.' It was a really beautiful song and one that I haven't heard in many, many years. I believe it was meant for me to visit your blog this morning, Deb. I needed to hear that... :)Deehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01062873564239631930noreply@blogger.com
