Wednesday's Word - (Old) Age....

One of our grandsons asked me yesterday how old somebody was and I told him that I wasn't sure,
but the man was older than me.
This sweet, precious little boy.....
whom I love with all my heart.....
then made this statement.....
"well, then he's old".

I didn't cry long!!!

Breathing in Grace,

Deb

  2. I agree with William Feather's quote: it's a nice change from being young. Yesterday I was out shopping, and I happened to notice several 'young' women/girls.... dressed a certain way, makeup just so, etc. etc. I remember being that young, thinking I had to always look a certain way before I could go out, wondering if anyone was looking at me, would I see a cute boy, etc. I smiled to myself and became so thankful that I am not 'there' any longer.... it's a great freedom not to care so much about that silly thing anymore.

  3. Hello sweet Deb, I guess old age is just a state of mind. I love being 55 years old, and I love feeling excited about life. Life with God at it's center is fulfilling and fun! Happy Wednesday! Your quotes have been a great way for me to start my day. HUGS!

  5. God bless the little ones, they really do mean well...lol. I like all of those quotes, but I think I like the 'Live your life and forget your age,' the best. I will always try to be young at heart... :)
