{ Good Friday Foto Friends #21 }

The weather here in East Tennessee has been a bit topsy-turvy the last few weeks.   We've had some absolutely gorgeous days and blue skies, but there have been some really cold nights to go along with that.

Hey.....
as long as the sun is shining,
even though it might be cold.....
I'm a happy girl!

I took this picture on my walk one day last week of a Bradford Pear blooming against a beautiful blue sky.

HOPE each of you has an awesomely blessed Good Friday and Easter weekend.

Isn't it amazing that Jesus loved us so much that He died for us?
But, He didn't stay in that grave.

HE AROSE!

HE LIVES!

PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!

  4. I remember in 2005 when I lived in Tennessee for a short time. I was fascinated with those Bradford pear trees. They were just everywhere and bursting with blossoms! We had storms come through last night and rain today. Have a blessed Good Friday, my friend.

  6. What a beautiful header, Deb!!! Nothing is blooming here yet, we had snow falling on campus today...the day started off 55* and rain and by noon the temps had dropped to 32*. ANYWAYS..

    My son asked while at dinner this evening, "Can I ask you something...I understand Good Friday, but is it really good? I mean...what they did Him." ----He is referring to the act of cruxification...just making a general comment. Yes, son. Yes.

    Thank you for such a lovely post, friend.

  7. Oh Deb, your picture is so pretty. Looks like a professional shot! I've had Christ on my heart all day, so many years ago He took my sin upon himself, that with repentance I might have eternal life. I can't find the words to express how grateful I am to our Savior. And my dear friend, I will certainly know you too, if not this side of heaven, I'll see you on the other side. We will meet some day. Easter ((hugs)) and Blessings.
