I am praying that God will lead me into His perfect REST in 2017, and help me to focus my attention on drawing closer to Him during those moments of rest. I tend to be a do-er, and can't seem to allow myself to rest in the Lord...so we shall see how this goes. One day at a time! I expect we will all be helping each other, as you seek MORE of the Lord, and I REST in the Lord, and Melanie TRUSTS the Lord, etc. It's going to be a great year!Pamela M. She was standing on a scale and the caption was "More of Jesus...less of me." The poster is long gone but the phrase has always stuck. The more we focus on Him and the less on ourselves, the better life seems to work out. I can't wait to see what the new year brings for you with this word and for me as well.
