Additional Prayer Requests

I've received a few e-mails this morning about some additional prayer requests. Please never hesitate to call, e-mail, or leave me a comment if you have something on your heart that you want added to our list because that's what my Thursday blog is dedicated to...and besides that, it's not "mine"...it's ours...well, actually it belongs to God!!!

1. A young lady dear to our heart - she lost her job sometime back and is now searching for what God wants her to do with her life. Please pray that she makes the right decisions in all areas of her future and that God will provide. She and her family mean so much to us!!!

2. This request came from a dear friend concerning a lady she knows. I'm going to just let her tell you, much better than I could: "I can’t give you any details but just know this woman has three children who are all out of the will of God and now they are paying for their mistakes and bad judgments. This mother, right now, is feeling that she is a complete failure. These kids were raised to know right from wrong and have been in church – but not now. I am trying my best to prop her up with God’s love, my prayers and scripture". She went on to ask all prayer warriors to pray for this family because they need a lot of prayer and love.
You know what...absolutely none of us are immune from having something bad happen in our family. Please pray for this family that God will give all the children an opportunity to turn their lives back to Him....and also, pray for the Mom that God will let her know that we all reach a point in our lives where we are responsible for our own mistakes, and our children are responsible for theirs....regardless of how our parents raised us!!!!

3. Ms. Marenda would like for us to pray for her Dad. He has a torn ligament in his leg which will require a surgery in the future. This family has had a lot of sickness and surgeries already this year. Please keep them in your prayers.

4. Ms. Betty - my sister-in-law - I spoke with her this morning and she went back to the ENT yesterday. He has put her on some medicine that is supposed to shut down her thyroid and hopefully cause the tumor to shrink. He also told her that sometimes a needle biopsy doesn't show up malignancy, that the only way to be sure is to remove it. Please pray for her in this very delicate situation she's in. She isn't a good candidate for surgery because of her heart problems. Pray for God to give her peace and for the doctors to make the reight decisions.

In His Love...and with mine!!!
