Deuteronomy 4:2 (KJV)
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Most of you who read my blog know me pretty well....you know what I stand for...you know that I am a Christian. I know that Jesus died on the cross for my sins...and yes, I am a sinner, saved by His wonderful grace. I've stated before I am not a political person. Since I started writing my blog for the glory of my precious Lord, I've tried to write from my heart, and for the most part, not took a stand, one way or another regarding the Presidential race...but....it's time I spoke up.
I am neither a Democrat, nor a Republican....I'm a Christian!!! I've said before that I have always voted my heart...my mind...my convictions...my morals....whoever I felt was God's choice. That being said.....I do not believe that Barack Hussein Obama is the right man to hold the office of President of the United States of America. I don't think I have to defend this stand....I feel the things this man stands for speaks volumes...and if your opinion is different from mine, then I definitely have no problem with you having your own opinion...after all, this is still America, isn't it???
If you would like a bit more information about what each of the candidates stand for...please go to the following link:
Also....please take note of the following:
"In God We Trust" is our national motto. (36 United States Code,Section 86)
"In God We Trust" has been on our coins since 1863(even before it was our national motto) (31 United States Code, Section 5112 [D]
Our Pledge of Allegiance cites "one nation under God."
Both state legislatures and United States Congress employ paid chaplains to pray at the opening of all sessions.
All military branches of the United States government have paid chaplains.
The inscription on the Liberty Bell cites Leviticus 25:10
The Library of Congress (another government institution) has statues of the apostle Paul and Moses, and it has large inscriptions of Micah 6:8 and Psalm 19:1 prominently displayed.
The Lincoln Memorial has chiseled on it, "Judgments of the Lord are righteous." (Government Property)
The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is dedicated to a soldier "Known but to God."
There is a prayer room in Congress.
The very branch of our US Government which ruled against prayers at a high school football game opens the Supreme Court Session with the words, "God save the United States and this honorable court." They do this publicly, not privately.
The United States Constitution refers to Jesus stating the Constitution was signed in 1787 "in the year of our Lord." (Could the US Government explain which Lord they are referring to on this sacred document if not Jesus?)
The United States Government has mandated "National Day of Prayer." (36 United States Code, Section 169 [H]. (Think about that....The very government who has ruled against public prayer at schools because of the misguided "Separation of Church and State" doctrine has mandated a "National Day of Prayer " by US Government Law!! )
Christmas is a United States Government Holiday.
Our Presidential election is Tuesday, November 4th. Please plan to vote in probably the most important Presidential election in the history of our country.
Disclaimer: the opinions voiced in my writings are mine and mine alone. I am in no way stating the opinion of any church, or any other person...these are my thoughts alone...I just sincerely hope that each of us are much in prayer for the upcoming election.
In His Love...and with mine!!!
I hope everybody votes and elects the right person, which I hope and pray is NOT Obama!!!!ReplyDelete
I think it would possibly be the end to our world as we know it......
