Confession Time

Okay....nobody has asked....but, I'm going to tell on myself anyway!!!!
I HAVE NOT stayed 100% away from sweets.
There, I've confessed!!!
But....I will say this much....I had a chocolate chip cookie...and it just didn't taste like I had thought it would....and I also had two (2)....
....ONLY TWO (2)....
Hershey Kisses....
(my all time favorite)
and they didn't taste "right", either.

So...could it be that my "sweet tooth" just isn't as sweet as it was???
I'm hoping that's the case.
Now.....I will carry on with trying to do without the sweets....I think a taste was all I needed....and it was worth it just to realize I wasn't really missing that much!!!
But...once this "fast from sweets...which I broke, didn't I???)
but, once it's over....and I try one of my favorite drinks ever....
a SONIC MOCHA CARAMEL JAVA CHILLER....
and if it doesn't "hit the spot"....
then, I'm gonna know that my sweet tooth died!!!!

In His Love....and with mine!!!

  1. Hey, it's alright if we fall off the beaten path as long as we get back on that path. There are times that we get off the path that God wants us on but in the end He nudges us back on it and He says it's ok, I'm here. Things won't taste the same once you have been away from them for a while. I still love ya and I'm still here. Even with some diets they give a free day of where you can eat what ever you want but the next day you are back on the diet. The body does go through cravings and it's normal.
