Grace Flows Down

Romans 3:24-26 (NLT)
Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he declares sinners to be right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.
I heard the song below yesterday.....I think for the first time.....at least I didn't remember hearing it before. I listen to music a lot in the car....and so many times I just get really filled with the spirit....so I have "church" right then and there, worshipping the Lord, listening to the music and letting it touch my heart and soul!!!!
In this case, it was in my driveway!!!

There are certain words that just bring to mind such sweetness. Most of you know by now that my favorite word is "HOPE", but I'll have to say that "GRACE" is right up there a close second!!!! When I hear the word "grace", of course I think of the unmerited favor that God showed for me...for each of us...when He sent Jesus to die on the cross for us. He didn't have to do it....and we certainly didn't deserve it (hence the unmerited part of the definition of grace)....but, He loved us enough to make the ultimate....the supreme....sacrifice of His Son. I look at my own daughter, and there's no way I could do that....offer my own life in her place, yes...in a heartbeat...but, willingly just stand by and watch people spit on her and beat her and nail her to a cross....there is no way I could do that....BUT GOD (my prayer partner and I use those words quite often).....BUT GOD did just that very thing!!!!

Grace....do you know of somebody who if you look up the word "grace" in the dictionary, their picture would be right there???? I sure do!!! There are several ladies in my life right now who are just the epitome of grace. They're facing hardships and trials but they are handling their situation with such grace and dignity. I'm going to say something selfish....I hope that I'm never faced with some of the health concerns that they're going thru...that their loved ones are facing...but, if I do....I hope that I can follow their example of showing God's grace to others!!!!!

Ephesians 1:2 (NLT)
May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!!

  1. That's the example God shows us through others of how if we are in their situation we should be, for His glory is always revealed. I pray that if I'm there like them that I have learned what He has shown us. This is showing the strength and courage He gives us through Him.
