Do I REALLY believe?

Do I really live my life....like I really believe....that what I believe....is really real?

Do I REALLY live my life....

.....like I REALLY believe....

.....that what I believe....

.....is REALLY real?

Do I REALLY believe when I worry and fret
(but I use the word "concern"...sounds much better)?
Philippians 4:6 (NLT)
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Do I REALLY treat my friends right, based on what I believe?
Romans 12:9-10 (NLT)
Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.
Do I REALLY believe when I pretend to be "perfect", and not willing to share my faults and shortcomings?
James 5:16 (New Living Translation)
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.
The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
Do I REALLY believe when I think I know what's best for me...instead of letting God have HIS way with me?
Isaiah 45:9 (NLT)
“What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ Does the pot exclaim, ‘How clumsy can you be?’
Do I REALLY believe when I think I am living a better life than my neighbor?
Romans 12:3 (NLT)
Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.
Do I REALLY believe when I think that my thoughts are mine alone....and don't matter to anybody else?
Philippians 4:8 (NLT)
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

It's easy for others to see Jesus in us while we're in church...but what if they run into us in the grocery store....or pass us on the highway...or come to our door unexpectedly?

Are we showing the world...are we living our life...in private, and in public....like we REALLY believe....that what we believe....is REALLY real?

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. Read this recently in a book and it has implications in every area of life. We say we truly believe Gods promises but it is much harder to apply our beliefs in all circumstance unless we have our minds renewed and choose faith.

    I enjoy reading your posts!
