Do I know her?

Do you ever walk by a mirror, or catch your reflection in a glass, and wonder who in the world that woman is?
I watched an interview with Katherine Hepburn once....and she commented that sometimes when she looked at herself in the mirror, she wondered who that old woman was.  She went on to talk about how she still felt the same....inside her head and in her heart....but she just couldn't get used to how much the outside had changed!!

Well....I think I've reached that age myself.
I don't realize how gray my hair is sometimes...until I see a picture of myself, especially one taken outside!!!

Out of curiosity....I did a bit of research in the scriptures about us getting older.

Proverbs 16:31 (NLT)
Gray hair is a crown of glory;
it is gained by living a godly life.

Not too sure about that "godly life" part applying to me...but I like that the Bible speaks highly of us gray-haired folk!

But...this one was my favorite of all that I read.....

Isaiah 46:4 (NLT)
I will be your God throughout your lifetime—
until your hair is white with age.
I made you, and I will care for you.
I will carry you along and save you.

Thank you, Precious Savior!!!

In His Most Precious Love...and with mine!!!

Kind words are like honey—
sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.
