Have I done any good?

I listened to a message yesterday about how once we give our hearts to Jesus, the Holy Spirit dwells within us....but....the more we study our Bible....pray....do for others....do for God....then, the more we are filled with the Holy Spirit...and there is less of me....and more of HIM!!!

Ephesians 1:14 (NLT)
The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

These are the lyrics to an old, old hymn....but with words that are so fitting for us today!!!

Have I done any good in the world today?
Have I helped anyone in need?
Have I cheered up the sad and made someone feel glad?
If not, I have failed indeed.
Has anyone’s burden been lighter today
Because I was willing to share?
Have the sick and the weary been helped on their way?
When they needed my help was I there?
Then wake up and do something more
Than dream of your mansion above.
Doing good is a pleasure, a joy beyond measure,
A blessing of duty and love.
There are chances for work all around just now,
Opportunities right in our way.
Do not let them pass by, saying, “Sometime I’ll try,”
But go and do something today.
’Tis noble of man to work and to give;
Love’s labor has merit alone.
Only he who does something helps others to live.
To God each good work will be known.

Love ya, hope things are well, miss you yesterday but I know you were all out searching for our Pastor. Seems like it's been forever since I have seen you.
