Ain't God good?

Oh, yes, He is!!!

I love that phrase and I find myself using it quite often!!!

Another one is....
.....He never ceases to amaze me, and I hope He never does!!!

But....my favorite....that I coined years ago....then, somebody up and wrote a book with "my" title....
"it's not odd...it's God"!!!

Lately, I've  been looking back over some things that have happened thru the years and I've come to realize just how much God is in most everything that happens to us.   I'm glad that I was able to see His hand in the fridge story that I shared yesterday....but, if we're observant....and trying our best to live "in tune" with Him....then, we're gonna see things like that happen a lot!!!

I'll share this one more little story with y'all.....that was definitely yet another God-thing.

I've been having nosebleeds since February....and up until then had never had one in my entire life.  I went to an ENT in April and he said  they were from the chronic sinus infection that I had from October thru April.  I had been on several rounds of antibiotics, but they would only help for a bit, then it would come right back....full force!!  Well, the nosebleeds didn't subside even after the sinus infection went away.  This past Sunday, I had 3....and the last one was pretty bad!!!

So....since I have a pretty full week, I had decided that I would make an appointment with the ENT for this coming Friday.   Now....I'm not one to run to the doctor with every little thing....in fact, I've tried my best to hold out going about the bleeds.....but.....I had another little problem that needed taking care of so I had made an appointment last week with my regular MD for this coming Thursday.

Yesterday morning, when I talked to Jess....she insisted that I go ahead and call to see the ENT....immediately....and not wait until Friday.
I hum-hawed around and told her "I might"....but she kept insisting, so I went ahead and called and got an appointment within an hour.

When he saw me, he looked at the area that had been  bleeding....and immediately told me that he was going to cauterize it....something I had figured he would do, but I hadn't even mentioned it.

Then....I briefly mentioned to him the problem that I had planned to talk to my MD about on Thursday....and he said he could take care of that problem, too.!!!

Now...that might not be a big deal to some....but I knew that God had His mighty hand in getting Jess to nag me (ha! ha!)....into going to the doctor on Monday....and in the ENT being able to treat me for something totally irrelevant to what I went to him for!!!   If I had waited to go to him on Friday.....well, it would have meant 2 doctor  visits....and more $$$$!!!!

That's why I say....
....Ain't God good?
Oh, yes He is!!!!
And.....
....it's not odd....it's God"!!!

And....I definitely hope....that He never ceases to amaze me!!!

Acts 17:24-25 (NLT)

“He is the God who made the world and everything in it.  Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples, and human hands can’t serve his needs—for he has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need.

Tuesday blessings to each of you!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  2. Good Morning, Dearheart,
I just love your blog...and today is another example why. You are always looking upward...and giving God the glory. Now others may have looked at this same situation and complained that they had two medical issues...a "poor me" kind of thing...but I love how you trust Him. He is so Good...isn't He! If we'd only jut open our eyes...and our hearts.
    Have a blessed day,
    Laura
