The Month of September

Wasn't August 1st was just last week?
Well, then....how can it be September already?!!?
What is up with the time flying by so fast?!?! But....that's life....and there's nothing at all we can do about it....except, try to enjoy each day as it comes....and not fret and worry any more than we can help it (look who's talkin', right?!?)

Now that I've preached a little mini sermon
(ha! ha!)
.....let's talk about the month of September.

First, I want to share with y'all the flag I hung out yesterday.  Ms. Dawn will be so proud of me for actually remembering to take a pic! This is one of my older flags, and it's a bit faded....but it's also one of my favorites....I think partly because it matches our house so well....with it's big red roof!!!

 Here are some September facts.....

The birthstone for the month of September is the sapphire....

September's flower is the aster....

  1. What a wonderful idea for a post! It should stay at the forfront of of your posts so we can count the items off one by one. Just kidding, kiddo. But there's some great information in there. Nice job.

  6. This is a great post. I have always loved September. The relaxing summer has been awesome but it's nice when September comes around and gets us back on track.

  7. Sad to say that both of my Nephews birthdays are in Sept. One on the 3rd and the other on the 11th. I could never remember their birthdays until 9/11. I always tried to send their cards out by the last week of Aug so at least they would get there. The one on the 11th is over in Afganistan so I sent him a home grown TN card with all the accents. Fall is my favorite time of year.
