R-E-S-T

If you've followed me for very long, then you know that I really like acrostics.  Here's one that I came up with for the word REST:

R – Regroup

E – Encourage Others

S – Study His Word

T – Trust in HIM

Last week, when something happened that was the "straw that broke the camel's  back"....well, I knew it was time to "regroup".  I definitely studied HIS Word....and my trust is in HIM because I know that no matter how hard any of us try, we're going to be a disappointment to somebody.

As for encouraging others....I sincerely HOPE that I can be better at that since the time I spent in REST....with HIM!!! I always want this blog to be for HIM....and when He puts lessons on my heart to share, He's speaking to me just as much....probably even more....than any of you.  If it takes admitting I have faults and sharing them with y'all....then I will.  None of us are perfect....only HE who lives in us makes us anywhere near the definition of the word!!!

Matthew 11:28 (NLT)
Then Jesus said,
“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

If you're burned out....getting restless....so very tired of having to deal with everything that comes with living in the "world"....then take some time to
R-E-S-T.  It will be worth it!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!
