Our Daily Bread!!!

We've been going thru a study of The Lord's Prayer at church.  One of the things that was brought out....and also by our SONday school teacher....was the phrase "our daily bread".  My Mom has a saying that holds so much truth....that she has tried to instill in me for many years....
(and I've had to repeat to her several times lately)....

"Just take one day at a time".

The last year of our lives, I've come to realize just what that means.  I've always had a bad habit of trying to live way down the road....into the future.  By doing that, I've missed out on a lot "here and now".  I never really gave much thought about "our daily bread" having the same meaning as just taking one day at a time.

So, now my prayer is for HIM to help me thru today....and for me not to worry about tomorrow....or the next day....or next week....or next year.  Because....He's already there....getting things ready for me...and HE has a plan....and it is GOOD!!!

Matthew 6:34
"So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries.
Today's trouble is enough for today."

Philippians 4:6
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Lamentations 3:22-23
The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
      His mercies never cease.
 Great is his faithfulness;
    His mercies begin afresh each morning.

....and not worry about tomorrow!!!
