I have a new little thing I do whenever I'm feeling stressed, or a bit panicky....
....or, just when I want to feel a bit closer to our Lord!!!
Take a deep breath....and as you breathe in....think to yourself,
"Breathe in Jesus"....
....and as you exhale....
...."breathe out Deb"!!
Okay, you need to insert your own name here, instead of Deb....
....unless we share the same name!!!
;-)
As I woke up one morning, I took a deep breath and couldn't help but smile, as I pictured Jesus filling up every fiber of my being....
....from the top of my head down to my toes....out to my fingertips!!!
If HE is in me....then, He's gonna direct my thoughts (mind)...what I look at (eyes)....what I listen to (ears)....and, what I say (mouth). He will be there to help my hands to help others....to direct my steps!!!
I shared this with our daughter who used it on SONday morning before she and our son-in-law spoke to their church....a congregation of close to 500 people!!! Then, on SONday night, a friend of hers used it again as she stood before a group of people to speak.
So....see....it works!!!
Try it yourself....see if you can't tell a difference!!!
And....let me know!!!

Hi, it's nice to meet you....I found you through Tracy...You blog is not only lovely, but full of wisdom.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful post; such good advice.....I am definitely going to try this as we all find ourselves in those moments of needing extra help from the Lord.
I love your hearts floating around....reminds me of little kisses from the Father...
Can't tell you the days I've had to just stop and say BREATH! And a lot of times I simply say, JESUS, BREATH ON ME!
ReplyDeleteOh, Deb...I love love love this~ and I need need need this, especially today :) I love how God speaks to me through fellow bloggers. I will be practicing this this mmorning and making it part of my daily life plan. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! A funny thing happened when I was reading your breathing exercise above...I was looking at your blog, and it had the white background. And then, as I did the breathing exercise, the hearts started falling down the screen! Perfect timing! God's love was showering down! I thought it interesting that the hearts didn't start until I started to "breathe in Jesus"! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea! I love it!
