Sickness, Soccer, Springtime....

.....and the number Six!!!

Just to share a bit of what's going on in my neck of the woods....

Our  GRANDsons have both been pretty puny.  Little brother had walking pneumonia, then his big brother had an ear infection and yesterday they were both coughing their little heads off.  This was the first time that Pappy and Nannie took them to the doctor, on our own, 'cause Momma had an appointment she needed to keep!!!
And, now....their Momma is sick, too....and Nannie isn't feeling so hot!!!
 :'(

Speaking of GRANDsons....the boys are both playing Upward soccer.  If y'all know much about the Upward program, you know that it's CHRISTian based.  Those little kiddos are adorable trying to kick the ball from one end of the playing field to the other without using their hands.  What truly touched my heart, besides the fact that our GRANDson was the best player (of course Nannie is going to think that, right?!?!)....is how our son-in-law got down on his knees and talked about Jesus with those little souls!!!  Pappy and I are so very blessed to have such a wonderful "son"!!!

It's SPRINGtime!!!
Other than having to shave my legs....

....I'm loving this weather!!!
We've spent lots of time outdoors this week...burning and raking and digging and planting....and taking lots of ibuprofen!!!

And....springtime brings EASTER....the most important "holiday" in the life of a CHRISTian....because....HE AROSE!!!

(we hung out our Easter flag)

Finally....the number SIX!!!
Several of you have asked about the status of the adoption of our new GRANDbabies!!
Our daughter and son-in-law are now #6 on the list!!!
It's a "hurry up and wait" situation!!!
We don't know "when"....but we do know it will be in HIS time!!!

Sweet blessings to each of you!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!
