Simple Joy!!!

I went to Food City with our daughter and GRANDsons last week.  We didn't put the boys into a buggy, which I thought was going to be a mistake....but I was so glad to get to witness what I did.  Our boys are "monkey see, monkey do", if you know what I mean....what one does, the other one does.  The youngest one is the free-spirited one of the two, so it was Big Brother copying Little Brother.  Little would skip and swing from side to side with his arms out like he was flying and singing....or humming.  He was completely oblivious to anybody else in the store who might be watching him.

I shared this story with the lady I walk with and told her that is how I wish all of us could be in our worship of the Lord....not caring what anybody  else thinks about us as we raise our hands during song and praise at church....being bold to speak about the Lord to strangers we meet....not caring who passes us in the car and see us praising God as we sing along with the radio.

Psalm 9:1-2
I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart:
I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.
I will be filled with joy because of you.
I will sing praises to your name, O Most High!!!

Happy Tuesday, Sweet Readers!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. Oh yes girl, Not to be ashamed of the Lord and our expression of worship should be our goal. I am one that has so much to be thankful for so how could I not raise my hands in Praise. Love the analogy with your little grandsons. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  2. This touches my heart today as I have struggled with sharing Joel's overnight healing from God with my "Lyme" blog readers..It stopped me from writing until I realized I needed to be me and share the amazing gift of healing that God gave to Joel no matter what others felt about it. ( so many have been sick so long). To God be the glory! Love love love the analogy with your grandsons. Makes me miss our grandkids!

  3. Freedom to worship w/out any hesitation at all....how awesome is that? how power is that? how many will or can express freely w/out shame or fear worship before the LORD openly so boldly so vividly before the LORD...as David ...Danced before the LORD right down the streets of "mockery and scorn" but he did not care....
