"Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is facing some kind of battle."
One morning this week, I felt God speak to me two words "be kind". Since then, I've came across several things about kindness. Being kind isn't always the easiest thing to do, depending on the situation, but God tells us to do just that in HIS word. Another thing I sometimes have trouble with is allowing others to be kind to me....I think it has to do with a little thing called pride. That was a hard lesson for me to learn during Pappy's unemployment....allowing others to be kind to me when I was used to being on the giving end....not the receiving!!!
Ephesians 4:32
Instead, be kind to each other,
tenderhearted, forgiving one another,
just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
In HIS Most Precious L♥ve....and with mine, too!!!
Blessings,
Deb
Perfect message for today, thank you.

ReplyDeleteYes, more kindness is needed all round, why do we find it so difficult to give and receive it.

Beautiful message!
ReplyDeleteKindness can be more powerful than we know. Just think about it, if ALL people were kind to each other maybe, just maybe, there would be no wars, no hate, no racism....and the list could go on. Kindness is a form of love, to be given to and received from others! {{hugs}} Deb, Merry CHRISTmas !
ReplyDeleteSweet message, and something we all need to be reminded of daily. I hope you have a very Merry and Blessed Christmas.
