I got gas and headed down the road to the grocery store.
Sometimes I turn the little heater on beside the computer.
Did I turn it off before I left the house?
I knew that I hadn't turned it on.
Or, did I?
Do I turn around and go back home?
No....you didn't turn it on!!!
Another thought.....
"you need to trust your instincts better than that".
Then, yet another thought.....
a convicting one from the Holy Spirit.
"This is how you make ME feel when you don't trust Me"!

Great post!
ReplyDeleteDeb, this is so good. As you know, the girls and I are studying 'The God I Never Knew,' a wonderful study by Robert Morris on the Holy Spirit. I'm going to share this when we meet again. I know the girls will love it too! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice illustration of how God feels when we doubt. Thanks. I need that. Dropping by from Tell me a true story. My entry " Home again" is from joysnotepad.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteOh how we stand on one foot and then the other - rocking back and forth in our thoughts. I loved your awesome post shared with us here at "Tell Me a Story." Trust your gut (or spirit). Awesome
