Monday, Monday.....

My sweet hubby has been home since he  got off work last Wednesday.  We worked like crazy mowing and weeding and pulling brush and spraying weed killer and watering and burning and pulling the transmission out of a lawn mower (Pappy, not me), and a whole slew of other things I know I've forgotten.  Whew, I'm tired all over again just thinking about how exhausted we were at the end of each day.  We did take some time to go out to eat and enjoy each other's company, and of course, church was yesterday, and we got some much needed SONday afternoon rest.

  I've said this many times.....
but I sooooo look forward to when he can retire.

Today.....
he's back at his job.....
and Nannie is taking our only grand girl on a date!
I'll share pics later in the week.

In the meantime.....
enjoy MONDAY!

HOPE y'all have a great day!

    1. Thanks for the compliment on the header....I love changing them out from time to time! I'm not sure how enthusiastic I am. There's just too much stuff to do around here....and we're not getting any younger. Maybe the grand boys can help soon! Sure HOPE so!

  3. Your list made me tired just reading it. I can only imagine how exhausted you both were at the end of the day. Glad to know that you were able to go out to eat and enjoy one another's company in the midst of it. Have a wonderful time today with Miss Ruby. I'll look forward to the pictures! :)

    1. We were worn plum out, as the old saying goes!!! It was good to get things done, though. It's difficult to get everything done on Saturday's! Miss Ruby and I had an absolutely wonderful day! She was such a sweetheart all day!

  6. Sounds like you have been super busy. It is Monday, and I've run into a lot of cranky people today. I've also been a little on the cranky side myself, but your post is so positive, and it's a breath of fresh air. I feel a lot better. Anywho, I just recently got back into the blogging thing, and now I'm getting all caught up on my favorite blogs, and wanted to say hello. Have an awesome week! Sincerely, Sarah :)

    1. I'm so sorry about having to deal with cranky people. That can put a damper on my mood, but not as much as I used to allow it! Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. I'll be paying you a visit!!!
