{ A Blessed Weekend }

Remember I told y'all that we were going to get to see 4-Him in concert this past SONday evening.
Well, the evening was absolutely awesome.
First off, we went to our  church for an evening of praise and a young man that we've known since he was a little boy sang one of my favorite songs.....
Mercy Tree, by Mr. Anthony Evans.
We left there and traveled to the church where the concert was being held, about another 45 minute drive.  And, here's the greatest surprise of the evening.  We had no idea, and neither did the music minister at Grace, that another singer would be opening for 4-Him.
Guess who that was?
People.....
it was MR. ANTHONY EVANS!!!

Oh, my how my heart leaped and I couldn't quit smiling.
But, it  got even better.
After he sang and 4-Him came out, Mr. Anthony came and stood about 10-15 feet away from Pappy and me.  Now, here's another God-thing.  We had planned on sitting in the balcony, but the balcony was closed.  Pappy had sat near the center of the church, but I couldn't see well, so we moved.  If we had sat in the balcony, or hadn't moved, this would have ever happened.  Pappy motioned for him to come over and he chatted with us and I got not one, but 2 BIG hugs.  I was on cloud nine!

What an awesome way to start off THANKSgiving week.
Not only this happened, but I received a sweet "happy" from a friend SONday morning.....
and a few days prior to that my Mom had given me some great words of encouragement.....
something I had only ever hoped to hear from her.

So, you probably know the words that are coming next, right?!?!?

Ain't God Good?
Oh, yes He is!!!

Thank you, Ms. Mary, for tagging me in this on Facebook!

God knows EXACTLY what we need and EXACTLY the right time to send it.  He's an ON-TIME God!!!

The past few days, I've most definitely been.....

breathing in His Grace!!!

  5. Hi Deb! I'm so excited for you, what an amazing thing to meet your fav singer, and then get hugs on top of it? Wow!! I'd still be smiling :)
It sounds like you had a great experience with your Mom too, and that's so special. God is good! And you know it and can testify to it. That's a cause for Thanksgiving.

Have a wonderful family celebration on Thursday, and a blessed Christmas Season. I'll look forward to continuing our connection in 2016!
    Blessings,
    Ceil
