{ A sign of His Love }

 I get tagged on Facebook sometimes with owlies and cardinals because my friends know how much I love both of those birds.  I've liked owls for about as long as I can remember, long before they became so popular.

My love of cardinals kind of started when I read a book many years ago about a lady who was having a difficult time and she asked God to show her a "sign" of His love.  She was driving in her car at the time and when she turned into her driveway, her yard was full of cardinals and she knew that was God's way of showing her His love.....
that He hadn't forgotten or forsaken her.
  Ever since then, I've felt the same way every time I see one.  I try to always whisper,
"I love you, too, Lord"!
Many times He'll send a cardinal into my sight at just the right time, maybe when I'm struggling with something and He knows I need a reminder.

A friend sent me this on Instagram yesterday and I was once again reminded of His Love......
and how blessed I am with such wonderful friends!

HOPE everybody has a terrific Thursday.

Don't forget to come back tomorrow for Friday Foto Friends.

  1. Birds have a way of speaking to me, too. And cardinals are extra special. :)

  2. No cardinals around here, sadly....the weather has yet changed again. It had been semi warm (55) for a couple of days--now, back to normal, lol. Thank you for the smiles...and I love your header. Blessings

  4. I have a lovely pair of cardinals who come each day to my feeder. The male is such a bright red, he almost seems to glow! I will never look at them quite the same after reading this. Thank you! Have a BEEautiful day.

  6. |I love that. I rarely see a cardinal at work. A few weeks ago I was missing Allen very bad and I remembered the old saying about a cardinal is a loved paying a visit. Pulled into the drive way at work and over at the side of the tree line were 5 male cardinals scratching among the leaves That NEVER happens. It was awesome.
