{ SONday morning }

 We're doing a study through the Book of Ephesians on my Facebook group page that I mentioned yesterday. It's one of my favorite books of the Bible!

 In our verses today in Chapter 5... verses 18-20 stood out because I know personally... and I'm sure you do, too... just how much singing songs during the musical part of a church service... turning up the volume on the radio in the kitchen or in the car... and making melody to the Lord in my heart... can lift my spirits...and turn my frown upside down!

🙁 😊

I'd love to hear if you have a favorite hymn or song that you turn to when you need a boost!

HOPE you have an awesomely blessed SONday!

  1. Just about any hymn can make me smile...there are so many that I cannot begin to pick a favorite..."Blessed Assurance, Jesus is Mine", "Amazing Grace", "It is Well With My Soul", "Great is Thy Faithfulness", "And Can It Be?" , "He Lives!", "Rock of Ages", "Jesus Loves Me", and the list goes on and on and on. I love the Doxology! "Fill My Cup, Lord". "I Surrender All", "Have Thine Own Way, Lord". So many hymns have blessed me and spoken to me at different times in my life. So glad you are blogging again. This was a good way to get some interaction! Thank you!

  3. Oh mercy! I have so many favorites. I have so many saved to my Music on my phone and listen to especially when trying to work out! I need all the help and inspiration that I can get! LOL! A lot of times I just want to sit and listen to many different songs. Old hymns, praise and worship and more. One of favs that I go to every time is called Death Was Arrested by
    Song by North Point Worship. I hope your Sonday has been wonderful friend. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  4. I've played songs on Youtube for so long they made a mix for me. It starts with I Love You Lord / I Exalt Thee at Gateway Church. Another favorite is I Speak Jesus with Charity Gayle. I have a family photo hanging in my hallway and one of the lines of that song is 'Shout Jesus from the mountains, Jesus in the streets... Jesus for my family...' and I put my hand on that picture and cry out to God for them! Most of them aren't walking with the Lord. I don't think I could live without praise and worship music. I sure wouldn't want to try!
