Life Blood

I'm a firm believer that EVERYTHING happens for a reason.  We might not always know or understand it at the time....and we may never come to realize why....but God knows.

Sunday we observed The Lord's Supper in our evening service.  As I sat there holding my cup of grape juice....I couldn't help but tear up from thinking about Jesus' blood that was shed for the remission of my sins.  I thought back to the several times that my nose had bled.....and as I would see my own life blood flowing from me.....it brought to mind the blood that Jesus shed...FOR ME!!!

Matthew 26:28 (NLT)
For this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people.  It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many.

Hebrews 9:22b (NLT)
For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.

Thank you, precious Jesus....for the blood!!!

Wednesday Blessings to each of you!!!
