Wacky Wednesday's Warped Sense of Humor

 You know I've told y'all that I get a daily e-mail from Tim's Inspiration.  I've enjoyed getting them for quite some time because they are always something so inspirational and always touch my heart.

Well....this one...just plain made me smile....no, actually I laughed out loud when I read it....of course....I sometimes have a warped sense of humor!!!

Here's what Tim had to say about it....
 This cracked me up and made me think. Before you write... Yes, I know it's not scriptural correct. It's silly. It's fun. Hope it makes you smile, laugh and think!
~~~Tim~~~
One night I had a wondrous dream,
One set of footprints there was seen,
The footprints of my precious Lord,
But mine were not along the shore.
But then some stranger prints appeared,
And I asked the Lord, "What have we here?"
Those prints are large and round and neat,
"But Lord, they are too big for feet."
"My child," He said in somber tones,
"for miles I carried you alone.
I challenged you to walk in faith,
But you refused and made me wait."
"You disobeyed, you would not grow,
The walk of faith, you would not know,
So I got tired, I got fed up,
And there I dropped you on your butt."
"Because in life, there comes a time,
When one must fight, and one must climb,
When one must rise and take a stand,
Or leave their butt prints in the sand."
~Author Unknown~
Please leave me a comment letting me know that I'm not the only one who found humor in this poem.....and also could see a lot of myself.  I know that God doesn't drop us.  He continues to carry us even when we don't realize it sometimes.....but I know there have been times when I totally deserved being dropped on my big ole butt!!!
Blessings to you!!!
Blogging for God
I just remembered this morning....that today is my 2-year blog anniversary....since I started "blogging for God"!!!
What better way to celebrate than to show you a couple of awards I've received in the past week.
Janet Ruth at Along the Way gave me not one....but TWO.....sweet awards.
If you haven't already checked out her blog, you've gotta head on over there.
Thank you, Janet Ruth....you are such a precious blogging friend!!!
Ms. Janet Ruth said this was actually a "Son-Shine Award"!!!!
Thanks from the bottom of my heart to all of my followers and to those who are faithful to leave me a comment!!!  I try to visit your blog, too, when I get a comment and see what's going on over in your section of the world!!!
Thanks again....and may your life be blessed!!!
What if?
 I was talking to a family member a few weeks ago and in the course of our conversation, she started to get a bit panicky and asked me a question starting with "what if".
  That simple little conversation got me to thinking about so many times in my own past when I've wondered, "what if".  Most of the time if those 2 little words come at the beginning of a sentence....it means we're concerned (I like that word better than worried, don't you?)....about something that more than likely won't even come to pass!!!
God will work it out....He always does....usually in ways that we could never have imagined!!!
(remind me of this, please, the next time I get a bit panicky myself)
Matthew 6:34 (NLT)
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
Blessings to you!!!
