I've told you before that I began writing my blog for God's glory because I truly want everything that I do and say to honor Him. That being said...I still sometimes doubt if I'm writing and saying the right things.
I know that is Satan trying to make me doubt.
I wrote this blog on Saturday evening while I had time to look up the scripture references. Then...at church last night...guess what they sang?!?!?!
"The Love of God"!!!
Thank you, Precious Lord, for your confirmation!
Plus...and this had nothing to do with me...but, a little twelve year old young lady gave her heart to Jesus. And, Mr. Jim sang a wonderful song that God had inspired him to write and Mr. Joe put it to music...WOW! Amazing! What talent!
Yes...the Holy Spirit was definitely in the house last night!!!!!
I have always loved the song "The Love of God" and I really like to hear contemporary Christian singers take old songs and make them "new" again! I have this song on my Playlist sung by MercyMe and I never get tired of hearing it.
The Love of God....how do we even begin to explain His love for us? How can we ever understand how He could have loved us so much that He would send His only Son to die on a cruel cross just for us? I want to share some scripture with you that I have high-lighted in my Bible that explains...just a little...of God's love for us. I enjoy from time to time just going thru my Bible and reading this scripture (I high-lighted it in blue so it would be easy to find).
So...when you're feeling down and out...remember this scripture and realize that you are anything but alone in this world...you have God right there with you and He knows you....personally....and loves you so, so much!!!

He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.

Psalm 139:2 - NLT
You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
Isaiah 41:13 - NLT
For I hold you by your right hand—I, the Lord your God.
And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.'
Matthew 10:30 - NLT
And the very hairs on your head are all numbered.
And....please, when you aren't sure if anybody out there is listening....
when you think all your friends have deserted you...
when you are feeling down and out and all alone...
remember this portion of John 10:3 - NLT:
.....He calls his own sheep by name....
God knows your name...He knows YOU...personally knows you!!!
In His love...and with mine!!!
