It's Thursday....already!!!

I cannot believe it's already Thursday!!! Where has the week gone??? And, boy, what a week it's been so far!!! I've told you that Pappy is off this week and we've gotten so much done. I hope that I can continue this pace after he goes back to work.....I also hope my hips and legs hold out!!! Climbing up and down off a ladder is hard on an old....older....gal!!!

So...since it's Thursday, it's time for prayer requests:

1. Betty - Ms. Betty is my dear sister-in-law and she will be having a thyroid biopsy tomorrow. Please keep her in your prayers, and please pray that it is benign. She has some heart problems, too, and really doesn't need any other health concerns. We love her and want only the very best for her!!!

2. Sam Stropp - this gentleman lives in our subdivision. He had a heart attack and will be having balloon surgery tomorrow. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

3. Please continue to pray for Ms. Shari and her concern about a new job. She has had a rough year, but I can see God working little miracles in her.
Praise His Holy Name!!!

4. Greg Johnson - Mr. Johnson had heart surgery yesterday morning. Please keep him in your prayers for God to heal him.

5. The family and friends of Wayne Branson - Mr. Branson had Alzheimer's and he passed away. I've never had to deal with that disease, but I have friends who have. It is so devastating to the family. Please keep this family in your prayers.

6. My friend's sister - she lost her husband a few years ago and still struggles with grief. Please ask God to help her thru her pain and struggles. He has sent her somebody to help who is going thru the same thing she went thru. Sometimes the difficult things we go thru just serve to give us the experience to help others.

7. The family and friends of Gordon Sisk - he passed away during heart by-pass surgery this week. Please keep this man's family and friends in your prayers.

8. My friend's boss - he has been to several funerals lately. That has a huge impact on our emotions. Please keep him in your prayers.

9. Eli Joshua Bean - this is the little baby I requested prayer for concerning his esophagus. He has a Care Page if you would like to visit it and see a picture of this precious little baby and learn a bit more about his surgery and recovery:

10. Pastor Dallas - please continue to pray for his recovery. He is doing great and we can't wait for him to be back in the pulpit!!!

11. I have a dear young friend who is going thru some problems. I don't really know what to ask for, but please pray that if I can help in any way that God will give me the words and the opportunity.

You know we don't always have to know somebody to pray for them. So many times I have no idea what to even pray for...but God knows the need and the situation.
2 Chronicles 6:35 (NLT)
.........then hear their prayers from heaven and uphold their cause.
In His love...and with mine!!!
