Thank You, Lord

Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul,
Thank you, Lord, for making me whole.
Thank you, Lord, for giving to me
Thy great salvation so rich and free.

Twice last week this song came to my mind while I was walking. The second morning it happened, I figured there had to be a reason...other than I needed to say, "Thank You, Lord" myself!!! Anyway....do you ever think that maybe...just maybe...God would like to hear a prayer of just "Thank You, Lord"....instead of gimme, gimme, or I want, I want, or I need, I need...or in my case...whine, whine, gripe, gripe, complain, complain?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

So....for today (and we...I...need to start this as a new habit) we're going to say a prayer of thanks to the Lord. Here's what I want you to do...even if you have never, ever left me a comment....today is your day. Leave me a comment and let me know what you are thankful for. It can be more than one thing. I'll start us off.

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
2 Corinthians 9:15 - KJV
Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!
2Corinthians 9:15 - NLT

First of all, I am so grateful that God sent Jesus to die for my sins. That's His "unspeakable gift"...meaning that this gift is just "too wonderful for words". I am so thankful for my precious husband...Pappy...Pap!!! I thank God for our precious daughter and that He sent her a Christian husband....to be a father to the most wonderful, adorable, smartest, cutest....and I could go on forever....grandsons!!!!

My list could go on and on and on, but I'll stop right there. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you're grateful for, and I'll share a few of the things God has blessed each of us with in my blog on Thursday....as praises!!!

Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness.
Let the whole world know what he has done.
Psalm 105:1 (NLT)

In His love...and with mine!!!
