Remember the other day I showed you the quickie pillow you can make from a tapestry place mat, a remnant of backing material and some poly stuffing??? Here's another one. On this one...it's a bit hard to see them...but I sewed jingle bells on each of the 3 snowmen/snow ladies scarves...so cute!! This one is a gift from Jess and me for a lady hosting a cookie exchange Monday evening (mine are going to be Rolo Cookies) The 3 snowmen/snow ladies represent her, her hubby, and their little girl. I am really excited about this "party"!!! Jess says her house is decorated beautifully.....a tree in every room. Maybe it will get me in the mood to clean up our house and put up my Christmas decorations. Plus...this will be the first time in a loooooong time that Jess and I have gone anywhere, just us girls.....no hubbies and no kiddos...not sure we'll know how to act!!!
One more thing...I also went back and sewed jingle bells to the four corners of the first pillow I made....it really made a big difference, not only in the "sound" when you pick it up, but just made the corners look better!!! Just wanted to give you all some ideas!!!
