Almost like ice cream.....almost.....

I've shared this little trick with some of you before. Since this is our first "Recipe Friday" for the new year....and since most of us are trying to get back into eating healthier....I want to share a little trick with you that might curb your craving for ice cream. I'm not the ice cream lover that Jess and Pap are....my weakness is CHOCOLATE....cookies, cake....especially, CANDY!!!!!
And, boy did I indulge during Christmas....and boy are my thighs and tummy letting me know just how badly I overate :( I told you my appetite would come back with a vengeance after that virus....and did it ever!!!
But....
If ice cream is your weakness....then you might like this:
Take a tub....small tub....of Fat Free Cool Whip (I personally do not like Cool Whip brand....but we won't go there. If you like Wal-Mart's brand, you can get a small tub of FF for 50 cents...YAY!!!) Take 1 or 2 packages of the 100 calorie Nabisco Oreo Thin Crisps and crush them....stir them into the Cool Whip and freeze....and VOILA...you have a lower calorie version of cookies and cream ice cream. It is really very yummy. I don't know the calorie count....just don't eat the entire container at one sitting.....not that I would!!! :)
