Prayerful Thursday

Before I list our prayer requests, I want to offer up a HUGE praise to our precious Savior!!! For some time I have prayed that if God wanted me to go back to work....that He would send me the job...that it would just sort of drop right into my lap....be part-time.....and I would know without a shadow of a doubt that it was from HIM. And...while I was giving the Lord details....I asked if I could work from home, too!!!

Well....guess what happened?!?!?!?

God answered my prayer....exactly like I had asked....and I am so very humbled. I told my Mom today, that it just amazes me.....and I often question....why He loves me....me of all people....so much!!!! I made a new friend at church, Ms. Brenda...and she has hired me to work for her doing what I love best....computer work....and I can do it sitting right here....and can even work in my jammies!!!

So I want to offer up praise and thanks to my precious Savior.....for bringing Brenda and me together....AIN'T GOD GOOD?!?!?!?!?!

1. Family of Joseph Coning

Joe is the little 8 year old boy who lost his life from complications from E-coli. Please pray for this precious family, including his twin brother, Jesse. I've thought so much about this family, especially since our own family has two precious little boys. I just cannot even begin to comprehend what they are going thru....but, our dear Savior knows and understands and I pray that He can give them the comfort and peace that they all need during this very trying time!!!

2. Ms. Belinda Dunn

Ms. Belinda had her second chemo treatment today for breast cancer. Also, her son, Taylor, is on a mission trip to Nicaragua and he and the rest of his team need our prayers.

3. Adam Stiles

Adam got hurt on his job last week and is in a lot of pain, and will be facing therapy and rehab on his hand and arm.

4. Kenny Stiles

Kenny will be having heart surgery next month.

5. Ms. Mary

Mary is a friend of a friend. She is having some family problems and needs our prayers.

6. Ms. Drama

Please pray for Ms. Drama's Dad. He has cancer and is undergoing chemo, and the side affects are taking a toll on his body. Also, Ms. Drama has a friend at her church and her daughter is on a mission trip in Nicaragua. Several member of her mission team have become sick and there is little medicine for them.

7. Charles and Ann Hayes

Please pray for this couple as they deal with Mr. Charles' cancer.

8. Beech Springs Baptist Church Youth and Youth Leaders

Please pray for our youth and youth leaders who are on a mission trip to Myrtle Beach, SC. One of our young ladies was able to help lead a young girl to accepting Jesus.

9. Beech Springs Baptist Church

Please keep our entire church family in your thoughts and prayers. We are going to be without a pastor at the end of this month. Please pray for our church and for our pastor search committee that God will give each of them discernment in choosing the right man....the one He wants for us!!!
