To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
Don't you feel like after Labor Day....that fall of the year is just around the corner?
A lot of fall decorations are already being put on display and in the stores....and....I'll probably go to the basement and bring up my totes full of my fall stuff this week...and get excited over some things I got at Hobby Lobby at 90% off after Thanksgiving last year!!!!!
This is my very favorite time of year!!! I don't get excited at all over football games....or the fair...but I do love the fall decorations and colors...the scarecrows...cornstalks...pumpkins....ghourds....oh, and the outdoor flag I got last year that has a cardinal on it with fall leaves in the background!! I love the cooler weather...and the fact that I can wear my very favorite item of clothing....SWEATERS!!!! But...I think one of the reasons I love fall so much is because it's the season of the year (along with spring).....that really shows God's handiwork. Nobody....only God....could take a tree that appears to be dead from the cold of winter....and cause it to bud in the spring....be full of green growth in the summertime....and make the leaves on the tree turn to gold...red...amber...yellow....even purple!!!
ONLY GOD!!
But...isn't that a lot like how He does with us?
He takes a heart that is cold....and when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior....He comes to live within us....planting His seed in our souls...and we begin to bud and bloom....and each of us shows our "true" colors once we've began to mature in our faith...and learn more about His word...and His truths....and strive to live as close to Him as we possibly can....and share Him with others!!!

Well, I don't either...but I'm sure glad He did just that for a scared...confused....lonely....eleven year old little girl....almost 44 years ago!!!

Yes, it's early. Fall is my favorite time of year for the same reasons. Cool weather and the beautiful colors He pants with His hands. It it seems like even as Christians, we go through seasons too.
