To weigh....or, not to weigh.....

.....that was the question!!!
Sometime last week I sent out a little survey to some of my e-mail buddies asking another burning you weigh yourself every day?
Here are the responses I received!!!
2.....don't even own a scale
1.....only if I decide to go on a diet and need a starting point
2.....only at the doctor's office
(one of you would have to call your doctor to even know what you weigh!!!)
8.....I weigh myself every day
(one of these 8 is because of health reasons)
1....once a week (only because she has to because of health reasons)
2....weigh daily...but only sporadically (depends on how much they've eaten)
Of all the answers I received....I liked the following one the best....because....this lady doesn't make her weight a top priority...she has other things in her life that mean more to her than what she weighs.
I'm thinkin' I could learn a lesson from her!!!
Here is her exact answer:

"I think I weigh myself at the most maybe 3 times a year if that. I don't really have the urge to or need to weigh myself. Only once in a blue moon do I get curious. It's not a priority. How's that for an answer?"

  1. I'm with the one that says she only weighs herself when she goes to the doctors office. I have a scale, but it's just for looks :-)
