Happy New Year!!

Early yesterday morning, as I stepped outside the back door, I heard birds...but didn't see them. 

I was busy locking the door. 

But...then something happened....it was as if something came over me....a sense of peace and almost a feeling that somebody was there....watching....and I knew.  In that moment in time....I knew....that the bird singing had to be MY cardinal.  I continued to lock the door....got in the car....and looked into the back yard....and saw....not one, but 2 male and 2 female cardinals. 

 If you've  been a follower of my blog for any length of time, you know how much I love cardinals....and that when I see them, I know that it's God watching over me....letting me know that He's there....and that He cares.  My precious friend described it this way....that God made the bird....and He's the one that tells it when and where to show up.  The amazing thing is....they always appear at just the right time. 

Or....is that even amazing at all? 

No...other than...God is the amazing ONE!!! 

Isn't He everywhere...all the time? 

Of course, He is!!! 

My wish for you...is that in the new year...you find yourself surrounded by....and wrapped in....the peace that only God can give!!!
