Lenten Reflections

As I talked a bit about last week....the season of Lent began last Wednesday, February 17th....and goes thru Easter Sunday, April 4th.  Sunday's aren't included in the 40 days....which represent the 40 days that Jesus spent in the wilderness fasting and praying.  This period of time is  called "Lent" because that is the Old English word for spring, the season of the year during which they fall.  I didn't share with you all the things I chose to give up....because they are personal to me....but I will tell you that at least during this period of time....and possibly from now on.....
.....I have turned off my comments.

You can still contact me via e-mail and you'll see my address over in the column on the right of this post.   Maybe you're not like me....but as bloggers....most of the time I feel we obsess over comments.  For those of you who have shared your thoughts about any of my posts....thank you so kindly....and I appreciate so much all the wonderful comments you've shared about my PlayList.   I love that songs God has inspired talented people to write and set to music....touch each of us....brothers and sisters in Christ.
