The Color Yellow!!!

When we got home from church SONday night Pappy and I went down to water our cukes and maters.  A swarm of yellow jackets must have thought I was providing water for them, cause before I knew it they were attacking my right arm and hand.  I knew as soon as I was stung what was gonna happen.....and I was right.....
I was miserable most of the night....got very little sleep....and today my hand and the place on my arm have itched....and itched....and itched some more, along with being swollen and oh, so hot to the touch!!!

My Mom taught me to pour gasoline into the hole where their nest is.....and I did.  I just really hope there are no yellow jacket activists out there who will read this and have me fined....or arrested!!!

Psalm 118:12a
They swarmed around me like bees.

I'll be back on Wednesday.....HOPEfully!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. Oh Poor You,

    Is a yellow jacket a type of wasp or bee, your sting looks like it may need medical attention.

    Take Care

  2. Oh Deb, I am so sorry for all the pain you are experiencing...I will lift you up in prayer this morning! No fret....I will not turn you in ....your kill is justified.....we just need to explain "you reap what you sow" .... those my favorite color "yellow jackets" sow death to your hand and they reaped death...its Biblical.
    Hope you get to feeling better my friend/ sister in the Lord.

  5. Deb, hope that swelling is showing signs of going down. Maybe a cloth soaked in hot epsom salts water would help draw some to the poison out. Also, have you checked closely to see if the 'stinger' is still in your hand? Saying a prayer for you to be healed. {{hugs}}

  6. Oh dear friend, so sorry about this! I know from experience how much bee stings burn and itch and mine lasted for days! Benedryl was suggested and it did help. Praying for you!
