Chats on the Farmhouse Porch!!!

Everyday Ruralty
Don't y'all agree that Ms. Patrice and Wendell throw one great party?!!?  I'm not sure I'm over it yet....and my precious butterfly dish will forever serve as a reminder of what a great blogging friend I have in Ms. Patrice!!!

Here are our questions this week....

Do you like to sing?
What kind of music are you likely to sing?
Oh, I to sing!!!
I grew up in a very small country church and I sang in the choir and a friend of mine would play the piano and we would sing duets together.  I rarely listen to secular music unless I'm in a store and it's playing, but I find myself humming, or singing along if I know the song.  My radios are all tuned to contemporary Christian music, so that's what I sing along to.  Big Daddy Weave's "I Am Redeemed" is my current favorite!!!

Do you watch soap operas (daytime TV), or have you ever?
When I worked outside the home, the ladies watched Young and the Restless every day at lunch and it kinda stuck with me. Now, I might watch one episode a week.  I guess it would be considered a "guilty pleasure"....emphasis on the guilty!!!  It's one of those things that if you don't watch it for a year, you can catch right back up.  I do like to watch Dr. Oz, though....that man is a genius!!!
;-)

Do you wear glasses or contacts?
I wear glasses....my astigmatism is too bad for contacts.
I cannot read a lick without my glasses!!!

What's your favorite easy meal when the weather is hot?
That would be letting my hubby grill out!!!

Tell me something about the past week?
Well, if you'll go check out this post, you'll see what a great gift arrived in the mail just yesterday!!!  God showered me with a blessing that I have to keep secret right now, until He allows me to share.  I've got to spend time with our GRANDsons and our daughter.  Pappy and I are still enjoying our time together....
....all in all...

Thanks, Ms. Patrice, for letting me sit and chat on your porch!!!

Blessings,

Deb
