Okay, Ladies....are you in agreement with me that this verse of scripture totally lets our hubby off the hook when it comes to fulfilling all our needs?!?
No wonder he doesn't always have the right words to say....
....'cause it's not his place!!!
There's no one human who can fulfill all our needs!!!
My hubby and I sincerely love each other, as anybody who knows us personally can attest to.....but even he can't fill that hole in my heart that can only be filled by my Jesus!!!
What I do feel the need to do is pray for my husband.....and to help me do that, I printed off 31 prayer cards so that I can whisper a prayer for different areas of his life each day of the month!!!

If interested, visit Time Warp Wife for help in praying specifically for your hubby, too!!!
In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!
Oh, so true! Thank you for sharing this great verse. It's good to be married to Godly men but even they cannot compare to our Heavenly "husband". What a blessing.ReplyDelete
Deb, I saw those prayer cards at Time Warp Wife and loved them. I plan on printing them too!! And using them !!ReplyDelete
I have sometimes asked my husband what he would want me most to pray for. At different times, there are different things that are burdening him, so that's a really useful idea too.ReplyDelete
When we pray for someone, we also can't keep holding something against them ... that makes a double-benefit with our husbands! There's nothing worse than 'hanging on to stuff' that's bugging us ..
Awesome reminder! We can put so much unfair pressure on our guys!ReplyDelete
