Playing the GRACE card

I felt God gave me the word "grace" for Wednesday's Word.
I can't seem to get that word out of my head and that usually means God's trying to do a work in my heart about something.

I have what I perceive as a difficult task ahead of me today.
As usual, before I sat to do my devotions, I asked God to speak to me.
He answered that prayer in today's Jesus Calling.

Here are a few excerpts:

"Put aside all that is waiting to be done,
and refuse to worry about anything.
This sacred time together strengthens you and prepares you
to face whatever the day will bring.

This act of faith -
waiting before working -
is noted in the spirit world,
where your demonstration of trust weakens
principalities and powers of darkness.

When you need to take action,
I will guide you clearly through My Spirit and My Word."

Praying for myself....
and you, sweet reader....
that we will find it through His Spirit within us....
to always try our best to play the grace card!!!
Show grace when it might be the last thing in the world our earthly mind and heart wants to do.

Ephesians 6:12
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies,
but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world,
against mighty powers in this dark world,
and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

In HIS Most Precious Lve....and with mine, too!!!

Blessings,
Deb
