You must first have a lot of patience to learn to have patience.

Have patience with all things, but first of all with yourself.
-St. Francis de Sales

Psalm 40:1
I waited patiently for the Lord.
He turned to me and heard my cry.

Ecclesiastes 7:8
It is better to finish something
Than to start it.
It is better to be patient
Than to be proud.

  1. I'll admit - when I saw the word for this Wednesday I was tempted not to click. HA! God and I have many ongoing conversations about patience.

  2. I was thinking about you yesterday and just wanted to stop by to say hello. I hope all is well in your world. Boy, does this post hit home with me. Patience is such a hard topic. When I pray for it, I get trials that teach it to me. When I expect patience to be there, it isn't always. We live in such a "want it now society". I think all the technology has contributed to that. We used to send a letter and wait for a reply. These days, emails and texting make us anxious (and without patience). Have a good rest of the week. Did you get your stevia prize yet? The company was waiting to restock before sending, so you should get it soon. :)

  3. Oh yes the word Patience! I try...I really do! My 5 year old granddaughter will say, "Nana, you have to have patience". That is what her papa tells her when they are fishing! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
