Suit up.....

I thought you might want to see the very special, stylish suit I had on this past Saturday for a few hours.....


Yep.....
that's Nannie!
All decked out ready to pressure wash the cruddy concrete pad at the back door of our basement.

Pappy took this pic to send to our grand-kiddos and as I looked at it I thought about how we put on different suits, depending on what job we're going to try to get accomplished, or maybe where we're headed for the day.  I usually try to dig out the worst things I own if I'm going to paint because I'm the world's messiest painter.  On SONday mornings, we want to look our best, so we "dress up"  for church. 

But, this is the attire that came to mind.....



Now, this is how we should suit up every day!

    HA HA HA! I did the SAME thing! I didn't look nearly as cool as you, though! I dropped my clothing, rain coat and even shoes right into the washing machine as they were so dirty! Got the patio, shed, side steps and arbor done. Next time I have the porch, driveway and sidewalk. I'd get to it today but I need my husband to get it running. That blasted cord is way too hard for me to pull the thousand times it takes to start-her-up! Great scripture and thoughts you have shared :)

      Oh what a similar story you have to mine. I didn't get finished either but my hubby has to start ours for me, too! There's always another day, right? :)

    Hi Shiny Deb! What a perfect outfit to put while facing dirt and water. (Love the 'thumbs up' too!) How true it is that we need that armor of God in our lives, the only protection we need for our souls. I always enjoy practical applications for Scripture, so this really touched me. I hope I don that armor every day, and give the Lord a huge 'thumbs up!!"

    Oh Deb, this made me smile! Love your outfit but the hat is by far the best! Very stylish....lol AND..yes, the whole armor of God should be our uniform everyday! ((hugs)) Hope you got that concrete clean.

      I have no idea why Jack ever bought that thing....except "for such a time as this"!!! LOL I don't think he could fit in it, but it sure did come in handy. I'll have to don it again soon, because I didn't get finished. You're so sweet, my friend!

    Lol... I love the outfit. I don't think I've ever looked that cute when I'm working around the house. I totally agree about wearing the whole armour of God and I've always loved that verse.

      Well.....it actually is an exercise suit....but I've only worn it this one time to pressure wash. It really came in handy to keep me dry. As for me being thin, what an awesome compliment. I haven't been told things like that in many many years.... not until I've lost weight this time. I give God all the glory because without Him I couldn't have done it.
