SONday Morning Song - My Story.....

Our daughter sent me a text early yesterday morning and asked if I wanted to go to a couple of thrift stores with her.  She DID NOT have to ask twice.  I told her I would be right up to her house and off we went.  One of them is my all-time favorite thrift store called Second Source.  I like it not only because it has the most awesome prices of any I've ever been to, but also the proceeds go to a couple of ministries that I'm really fond of.....

Both of these ministries are a part of Carson Newman University, where our daughter graduated.  This is also where I take the things that I accumulate from my closet/basement/house!

So.....
back to my thrift store visit with our daughter.
Second Source always has a radio playing, and it's usually on a Christian station.  I noticed Jess singing along and so was I because I just couldn't help myself.  Then, this song comes on that I didn't recognize, but really liked.  The radio was on K-Love, and you can send a text to 21947 simply saying "last three songs", and you'll get a reply.  When my phone dinged with the answer, I wasn't at all surprised as to the artist singing this song, because they are one of my  favorite Christian bands.....
Big Daddy Weave!

HOPE you liked it as much as I do.
Did you get HOLY SPIRIT chills, too?

Have an awesomely blessed SONday, Sweet Friends!

Breathing in Grace,

  1. Beautiful. We have a Salvation Army Thrift Store here, some items are pricy. Yes, on the Holy Spirit...which is something hard to describe or even talk about. Have a lovely SONday, friend.

    1. Second Source has a higher priced section but I like the less expensive side. Women's dresses and pants $2, tops and skirts $1, jeans $3. Awesome prices. Just bring it home and wash it up!

  2. Deb, I love the song and will add the group to my Spotify play list. Nice that you got out with your daughter for some shopping. My sister and I found a HUGE thrift store when we were at the beach a few weeks ago. We all found some things to buy and it feels good knowing they support groups that need the help. Have a wonderful SONday!!

  4. Oh I adore the music by Big Daddy Weave! So perfect for singing singing along in praise and worship. I especially like Overwhelmed and Every Time I Breathe, but my favorite is Redeemed. They are going to be in concert in Knoxville on September 14! Have a blessed week, Mrs Deb. ☺

    1. Like you, I'm pretty sure there's not one of their songs I don't like! They're awesome. I think they're gonna be at the fair in Knoxville. Alas....too late for us on a weeknight. :(

  5. Hi Deb! Thank you for introducing me to this song. I know Big Daddy Weave (what an interesting name, right?), but not this song. Love it!
Hope you found fun things at the thrift store. I sometimes go with my husband who just loves those places. Seems like I always find something :)
    Sunday blessings,
