to remain, abide; to sojourn, tarry; to continue to be present; dwell; to be held, kept, continually; to continue to be with, not to perish, to last, endure; to survive, live; to remain as one, not to become another or different; to wait for, await one
I came across the Greek word meno' recently and had to look up the exact definition because I was immediately reminded of my word for 2018.....
I love it when God sends us little reminders!
Beautiful Deb. I hope that your Resurrection Day was beautiful for you friend. Happy Wednesday. Hugs and blessings, CindyReplyDelete
It is so important that we "meno" tarry with Jesus. What a great place to find comfort and to come to know Him better.ReplyDelete
Dwell well! :)ReplyDelete
Abide with me, fast falls the eventide...tho' darkness deepens, Lord with me abide... that is what I thought of when I read this. Also, we read about the "Road to Emmaus" this morning, and the disciples asked Jesus to abide with them, even tho they didn't realize it was him...ReplyDelete
Meno, a new word for me! Let me meno in the house of the Lord forever!ReplyDelete
What a great thought!!! Wishing a happy rest of the week. smilesReplyDelete
