{ Wednesday's Word - Meno' }

to remain, abide; to sojourn, tarry; to continue to be present; dwell; to be held, kept, continually; to continue to be with, not to perish, to last, endure; to  survive, live; to remain as one, not to become another or different; to wait for, await one

I came across the Greek word meno' recently and had to look up the exact definition because I was immediately reminded of my word for 2018.....

I love it when God sends us little reminders!

Colossians 3:16

  1. Beautiful Deb. I hope that your Resurrection Day was beautiful for you friend. Happy Wednesday. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  2. It is so important that we "meno" tarry with Jesus. What a great place to find comfort and to come to know Him better.

  3. Abide with me, fast falls the eventide...tho' darkness deepens, Lord with me abide... that is what I thought of when I read this. Also, we read about the "Road to Emmaus" this morning, and the disciples asked Jesus to abide with them, even tho they didn't realize it was him...

  4. Meno, a new word for me! Let me meno in the house of the Lord forever!

  5. What a great thought!!! Wishing a happy rest of the week. smiles

  6. Yes! Sometimes it is hard to hear those Heavenly reminders and other times they smack us in the face and there it is!!
