{ Friday Foto Friends #158 }

It's been a cold dreary week here in East Tennessee and we even saw a bit of snow one day.....

The sun was setting as I left Mom's one evening.....

One of my favorite decorations - the nativity set I got from Home Interior our first CHRISTmas together, 42 years ago - Jess painted the cross for me. I usually put the nativity in a "stable" that my Dad and Pappy made but I chose to go simple this year.

And, this just says it all.....

Happy weekend, sweet Friends!

  2. We are in the same frame of mind...keeping it simple, but sharing the Christ of Christmas. Love your nativity sets. Also love the snow! Wow! and that sunset at your mom's was beautiful. Looking forward to a great Advent season, getting ready for Christmas...and whatever the Lord leads us to do in this season of giving and love. I'm early here tonight...but busy tomorrow morning so wanted to get this done. God bless you dear friend, and thank you for making this possible for us each week. You are so wonderful!!

  3. Beautiful sunset Debbie and I absolutely love your Nativity. I have mine set up without a Stable too. Here in my area there's no thing as a little snow. LOL! Have a day and weekend of blessings my friend.

  6. The nativity is so pretty, I still have some Home Interior items around the house. I agree with Sylvia, the last photo is what it's all about, the most important thing of all. Hope you have a very BLESSED and FANTASTIC Friday!!

  12. Such a pretty nativity Deb. I love it! I have mine out too and I had this little cross that says "Hope" that my sister had given to me so decided to add it to my little nativity this year. YES HOPE! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
