Prayer and Praise

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
I Peter 3:12 (KJV)

For our Thursday post, I always find scripture pertaining to prayer. I thought this one was very interesting, in light of everything that we've talked about this week....."the Lord is against them that do evil". I think because all of our minds have been so much on matters in Congress this week, I haven't received very many prayer requests.

Prayers and Praises

****Please continue to pray for Ryan Corning. I received this about him yesterday:
"Ryan is doing great they have moved him to a regular room and removed most of the tubes. God is so good!!! Just a week ago we didn't think he would make it let alone this soon be this far along."

****Remember Eli Joshua Bean?!?!...the little baby who had surgery on his esophagus. Please go to this link to read about his progress:

Again...God is so amazing and so, so good, and isn't it wonderful to be able to witness answered prayers?!?!?!?

**** With everything that has happened this week in Congress, please continue to be much in prayer for our country...our economy...our leaders...and for each other!!!

**** I know of several people who are going thru problems with their jobs....different circumstances, but still it means loss of income. Please pray that all of us can keep our faith and trust in God during this time that He will continue to provide as only He can. At Pap's work, they are asking for workers to volunteer to be furloughed for a day, or two, each week. Of course, Pap hasn't volunteered, but let's pray that those who can afford to do so, will volunteer, so that others can continue to work.

**** Last, but not least...here is a pic of beautiful baby Fallon...finally
(I actually stole this one from her Grandpa's blog!!)

In His Love...and with mine!!!

  1. yes....God IS good! He has really brought little Eli a long way! He has performed wonders on his little body. He's really doing well. Thanks for putting him on your blog and requesting prayer, I know that's what has brought him this far, all the prayers going up for him, and I think he will need a prayers for a long time to come, but God is definitely taking care of him and his family, thanks!

p.s. Baby Fallon is precious, I can't wait to see future pics that Jess will be taking :-)
