Why are we...why am I....never satisfied???

Remember this:

Well, I've looked at it and looked at it and there was just something missing...it just didn't seem finished....so....brainstorm!!!
I decided it would look better with some flowers to go with all the petals...and maybe a little green for contrast.
So...a trip to Dollar Tree (oh, how I love that place)...and here's how she looks now:

Better??? Oh, I think so. I only took about 20 pics until I finally just took this one in total darkness using the flash for it to even show up at all.
Anyway...I'm no photographer..I'll leave that up to

The ribbon actually matches much better than it looks in the pic!!!

Now, on to #2 (and another thing...or two!!!)
....look what Pappy bought me...oh, he knows me so well:
It's sitting on my kitchen counter...where it reminds me that I want chocolate.
Maybe that's not such a good idea!!!

And....one more time....I just love, love, love this picture....it makes me smile and makes my heart happy:


I know that some of my posts are about my crafts and my family and my home....but those are so very important to me....and they are blessings from my precious Lord that I am so grateful for and want to share with the rest of you. I've had some sweet comments about how my blog isn't all about decorating and organizing....no, it's not....but that doesn't mean from time to time I won't be sharing some of my ideas with you. Not that I'm an authority....on anything....but I love sharing ideas...but most of all, I love sharing how my Savior saved my soul....and how He continues to save me!!!!
