Have you ever thought much about that verse of scripture?
I hadn't until just recently when something....actually a couple of somethings....happened to me, and that verse immediately came to mind.
I received a phone call...from my Mom...a couple of weeks ago.
All she said was that she just wanted me to know that when she talked to me about something it always made her feel better. Then, she told me "bye".
She could not have given me a better gift....than if she had given me solid gold apples!!!
Then, last Friday....a precious lady I go to church with sent me an encouraging e-mail...offering a "pat on the back"...with kind, sweet words!!!
Never hesitate to pay a compliment to somebody....say "thank you".....offer words of encouragement....let somebody know what they mean to you....because more than likely....that person is truly needing to hear those words "fitly spoken"....at just the time that you say them!!!
You know by now...that's how God works!!!!

This is interesting today.. One of the ladies at church yesterday after I came down from choir line she gave me a hug and told she loved me. Simple but very thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteToday, my supervisor came up to me and said, Rhonda I want to take you to lunch, my treat! Wow...we had a wonderful time getting to know each other on a peronal level. We have a small office and it made me feel so good that she desired to "know" me.
